Stamp Convention...

Today I attended a stamp convention in Carson, California. I was kind of disappointed in the set up of the convention. Usually I really enjoy going because there's so many vendors and so much new stuff to see. This time, I was told by one of the vendors that there was too many conventions going on around different parts of the country that vendors were just all over the place and so needless to say, I was disappointed because the vendors I would have loved to have seen new products from were not there. What a bummer. However, I did enjoy the vendors that were there and visited my regular spots. Of couse I couldn't resist on spending mucho dollars! I really debating whether or not I am going to attend tomorrow or not. I guess I'll just see how I feel in the morning. Tonight I better not forget to set my clock forward or I'll just be late for everything. Isn't Spring just great! Especially when you have high 80's and 90's kind of weather! That's Southern California for you!
Tomorrow I'll try to post some of the things that I purchased at the convention and try to make some samples with the wonderful stuff that I bought. It is so amazing to see these very creative vendors in action!

New baby in the house,,,

I am so jazzed because my niece just delivered a healthy baby girl a couple of days ago! What a way to go. Now I have a great-niece and my mom's first great-granddaughter! How about that... 4 generations of girls. What a way to go! You can see by the picture how beautiful she is! I can hardly wait to hold and hug her.

Spring is Coming

I can' believe how fast Spring is coming. I just love this time of year. I love the thought of Easter coming right around the corner. I made a couple of Spring/Easter cards but haven't really had the time to be too creative. Here are some of my cards that I've made.

Finally taking the step...

Today I decided to take the step of uploading some of my work to the SCS gallery. I'm still new at this sharing business and still new at the uploading deal but am trying my darnest to do it. I will be uploading more often I promise. I would welcome any comments to my work so don't be afraid, I'm a big girl, I can take it (yikes...be gentle please!). I hope I can keep up with all you big hitters. Boy between working, being a full time mom to my daughter and baby pups, I will try! Yup..new baby pups. Yes, of course I will upload a picture of them soon!

MY NEW BLOG

I am so new to blogging...and have so much to learn. I was inspired by all the blogspots on SCS website that I wanted to join in on the fun. Once I learn how to upload, scan my work, I will be sharing them with you. But for now, I just wanted to let you know that I am going to give this a try! Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!
